It is difficult to convince many American tourists that a good use of their limited vacation time is to leave the beach, rent a car and drive twenty minutes for a British history lesson!

As a result, in this sales brochure we opted to show the incredible views from the top of British built Brimstone Hill Fortress. The headlines and text were then structured to promote a little - known American connection involving the 1782 British/French battle fought here - and American founding father Benjamin Franklin.

Of course the many British and French tourists in the Caribbean also enjoyed the scenery and found themselves mentioned historically in a complimentary manner.
